Cooking Time: 30 minutes
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder (you can adjust it according to taste)
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)
- 1 tsp garam masala (you can adjust it according to taste)
- 2 tbsp oil (peanut oil, sunflower oil etc any can be used)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 8-10 mushrooms
Take ginger garlic paste in a deep bowl and add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, dry mango powder and garam masala in it.
Now add oil and mix all the spices nicely with the ginger garlic paste.
Stir in the broccoli florets and mushroom and mix them nicely with the marination. Mix well so that the veggies are nicely coated with the marination. Cover the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 30-45 minutes.
Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before roasting/baking so that it do not burn. Now insert the mushrooms and broccoli in the skewers alternatively. Keep it on a baking tray lined with aluminium foil and spray some cooking oil on top of it so that it roast nicely.
Pre heat oven at 350 degree fahrenhite or 180 degree celsius for around 10 minutes and then bake the veggies for around 15-20 minutes or till it is fully cooked through. Keep rotating the skewers in every 10 minutes so that the veggies are roasted evenly from all the sides.
Super Delicious Broccoli and Mushroom Skewers are ready in no time. Serve it hot with coriander peanut chutney, coriander curd dip or any sauce of your choice. This is a super easy recipe with minimum prep time. Accompany these skewers with some hot soup and bread and your meal is sorted. You can alter the veggies as per your liking. You can also make this skewers with paneer or tofu. It is also a great party appetizer. Just marinate it and refrigerate and before the party pop it in the oven and one of your appetizer is done.
