Servings: a medium bowl, serves 2-3
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
- 1 small apple chopped into small cubes
- 1 banana sliced
- 1/2 cup pineapple chopped into small cubes
- 1 peach chopped into small cubes
- 1/2 cup black grapes halved
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp sugar (adjust it according to taste)
- 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
- 1 tbsp tutti fruity (optional)
Take all the chopped fruits in a big deep bowl. In another bowl take greek yogurt and add sugar and desiccated coconut in it. Mix it nicely till sugar is dissolve completely. Now mix this yogurt mix with the fruits and toss it nicely so that all the fruits are nicely covered with yogurt. Keep this salad in refrigerator for at least half an hour and serve it chilled. Garnish with little more of desiccated coconut and some tutti fruity. This fruit salad taste best when it is chilled.
Super delicious and healthy creamy fruit salad is ready to be enjoyed in this hot summers. It is a super yummy way to eat fruits and yogurt all at the same time. Give it more twist by using flavored yogurt of your kids choice and add little bit of candies too in this as cherry on a cake. I am very sure all the kids will love these combination and eat all the fruits without any fuss. It is a super delicious way to make your kids eat fruits. You can use any fruit of your choice. You can also add nuts like cashews, raisins, dried cranberries or walnuts Avoid using any citrus fruit like oranges, grape fruit etc as it does not go well with yogurt.
