Aloo Sandwich

Serving: 3 sandwich

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium sized potato boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup onion/1 medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies finely chopped (you can adjust it according to taste)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 6 slices of white bread/wheat bread
  • 3-4 tbsp butter

Procedure:

Step 1: Take oil in a kadhai and when oil is hot enough add green chillies and onion.Saute it till it is light brown in color.Now add mashed potato and mix very nicely.Keep gas on medium heat.

Step 2: Add salt,red chilli powder,cumin powder,garam masala and coriander, stir nicely.Cook until all the ingredients combines properly that is for about 10-15 minutes on medium heat.

Step 3: Take out the potato mixture on a plate and now lay three slices of bread on clean surface.Spread potato mixture evenly on all the three slices and now sandwich with another three slices of bread.Spread butter on one side of all the three sandwiches.

Step 4: Preheat the sandwich griller or simple griller or tava and place the sandwich up side down so that the buttered side is down and then spread butter on the other side of the sandwich which is on top now.Grill the sandwich for about 5 minutes or until it is golden brown and crisp.Like this grill the remaining other sandwiches.Super easy and tasty aloo sandwich is ready.Enjoy !!
