Cooking Time: 45 minutes
- 2 cup rice
- 1 cup green peas
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Salt to taste
- 2 tsp black pepper powder (optional)
- Mint leaves or coriander leaves for garnishing.
Step 1: Boil the rice as we do for steamed white rice and keep it aside.
Step 2: Take ghee in a kadhai or deep pan and when ghee is hot enough then add green peas,salt and pepper.Stir it nicely.
Step 3: Cook until peas are soft and cooked properly,this will take around 5-7 minutes.
Step 4: Add rice in the kadhai and mix gently so that rice do not breaks.Garnish with mint leaves or coriander.Serve with chana daal, chana masala,paneer butter masala or any other curry of your choice.Enjoy !!
