- 1 cup dry red chillies
- 7-8 cloves of garlic (if cloves are small then take around 10-11)
- salt to taste

- 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp refined oil
- 1/2 cup water.
Procedure:
Step 1: Remove stem from dry red chillies and soak them in warm water for about 2-3 hours.
Step 2: Peel and wash garlic. Combine soaked red chillies, garlic and the water in which chillies were added in a blender and blend it in a smooth paste.
Step 3: Then add salt, sugar and lime juice to the paste and mix well.
Step 4: Heat oil in a kadhai and when oil is hot enough add this paste and stir it nicely.Add 1/2 cup water and keep stirring it occasionally so that it do not stick to the bottom of the kadhai. You can adjust water according to the consistency of chutney you want.Cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat. The chutney will get little thick. If you want dense chutney then cook for more time on low heat.Spicy chilli garlic chutney is ready to be enjoyed with your meal.Enjoy !!
