Cooking Time: 45 minutes
- 2 cup rice
- 1 cup sweet corn
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3-4 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp coriander finely chopped for garnishing
Step 1: Boil the rice as we do for steamed white rice and keep it aside.
Step 2: Heat a kadhai and when kadhai is hot then add butter to it,now add onion and saute it for few seconds.
Step 3: Add corn,salt and pepper and mix nicely.Cook for about 5-10 minutes till corn is soft and tender.
Step 4: When corn is cooked properly then add rice and mix gently.garnish with coriander and serve with any curry of your choice.Enjoy !!
If you are using fresh corn from the cob then you can parboil it little before using for the rice and if you using packaged corn then use can use it directly.
