Today I am sharing recipe for Salad on a stick with creamy mayo dressing which is a very simple recipe yet very delicious. It is super quick and easy. This is a little fancy and pretty way to present the salad.
I am also posting this recipe as part of our A to Z Challenge and this months we have to choose the ingredient with alphabet I and immediately what came in my mind was Ice berg Lettuce. I love Ice berg Lettuce in my salads as it have a very nice crunchy texture and sweet taste.

This is my 6th dish in the A to Z challenge series, the last three were Broccoli and Tofu Stir Fry , Cauliflower Tawa Kebab , Nutty Dates Roll , Aloo Baigan and Almond Honey Cookies. Hope you all will like it.

Ingredients:
For Salad
- Ice berg lettuce
- Red onion diced into big cubes
- Grape tomatoes
- croutons
- American Cheese (you can use any cheese of your choice)
- Wooden skewers halved.
For mayo dressing
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup greek yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic grated
- 1/2 Red chilli powder (optional)
- 1/2 tsp oregano
Procedure:
First of all we will assemble the salad. Cut ice berg lettuce into small cubes and insert it into the skewer . Then follow it with a crouton, red onion, grape tomato and a piece of cheese. You can assemble the salad in any order of your liking. You can also customize the salad according to your choice like you can also add olives, banana pepper, pickled jalapenos or cucumber. You can use any cheese of your choice. For the ease or when you have to feed a crowd, throw all the ingredients in a large salad bowl and dress it up with yummy mayo dressing.
For the dressing part, just mix all the ingredients in a bowl and super delicious creamy mayo dressing is ready to be enjoyed.
Drizzle dressing on the salad and salad is ready to be enjoyed with any meal or as is.
This is a super easy salad which can be easily put together even on a very busy day. You can also make ahead the dressing and keep it in the refrigerator in an air tight jar. Serve this salad in this fancy way to your guest and be the party star. It is also a fun way to make your kids eat salad. You can customize it as per your kids liking, like you can also add a piece of grilled paneer or mushroom and make it a wholesome meal for your kid. Ice berg salad with tomatoes ,croutons and that yummy mayo sauce sounds so delicious ! Best part is serving it on skewers . Makes for a wonderful party food.

This is such a sweet recipe. Starter bhi, tasty bhi, aur healthy bhi. Nice way to use iceberg lettuce. And the creamy dressing is just a bonus.
