Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 8 strawberries
  • 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

First of all remove the leaves and stem of strawberries, wash them and pat them dry over a paper towel. Then insert a tooth pick as shown in the picture above.

Now take semi sweet chocolate chips in a glass bowl and melt it in microwave. Warm it for 40 – 50 seconds but keep on stirring it in every 15 seconds so that it does not burn. You can also melt chocolate over a double boiler. Please click the link to get the complete process. Chocolate Nut Clusters.

When chocolate has melted completely and it is smooth in texture, take one strawberry at a time dip it three forth in the melted chocolate as shown in the first picture above. Cover the strawberry from all the sides and keep it on a plate lined with parchment paper or butter paper. Like this cover all the strawberries with chocolate and keep the plate in refrigerator for 5-10 mins or till the chocolates hardens.

When chocolate has hardened, it will easily come out of the parchment paper or butter paper. It will look like the picture given above. Now to decorate it further, melt white chocolate in microwave and drizzle it over the strawberries and again put it in refrigerator for 5 minutes to allow it to set.

Chocolate Strawberries

Yummilicious chocolate strawberries are ready to be enjoyed. This takes no time at all and perfect for little bite of desert with freshness of fruits. Keep it refrigerated till serving. You can also make it like a bouquet by inserting them in a foam and keeping it in a small vase. It looks very attractive and very handy for the parties. You can also box this in a cute box and gift it to your loved ones and I am very sure they will love it. So do try this out friends and please let me know how you like it. Enjoy !!
