Servings: 12 pieces
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup crumbled paneer
- 3/4 cup condensed milk
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp finely chopped pistachio for garnishing
Procedure:
Take a heavy bottom pan/kadhai and add condensed milk in it. Keep the gas on medium heat.
Then add milk and mix it nicely with condensed milk.
When condensed milk and milk is mixed properly, add crumbled paneer and mix it nicely with the condensed milk mixture.
Keep stirring it so that it do not stick to the bottom of the pan. Cook it till it starts getting thick. It will take around 7-8 minutes.
As the mixture will get thick and start leaving the sides of the pan, add cardamom powder and mix it nicely. Switch off the gas. Do not over cook the kalakand mixture otherwise it can get little chewy in texture.
Grease a box nicely with ghee and
pour the kalakand mixture in it and then flatten it out with a spoon equally.
Garnish it with finely chopped pistachio and refrigerate it for at least two hours. Then cut the kalakand into equal sized squares and serve it.
Yummy Kalakand is ready in no time. Condensed Milk kalakand takes only 15 minutes and homemade, healthy and hygienic desert is ready. Keep it refrigerated. It is good in refrigerator for 3-4 days. As now festive season is here, you can whip up this easy kalakand in no time and can enjoy it with your friends and family. Do try this and let me know how you like it. Enjoy !!
