Cooking Time: 30 minutes
- 1/3 cups ghee (i.e. 6 tbsp)
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar (you can add little more if you want more sweet)
- 1 tbsp almonds flakes
Take ghee in a deep kadhai or pan and heat it on medium heat.
When ghee is hot enough then add gram flour in it and stir it nicely.Keep the heat on medium.
Keep stirring the flour so that it does not stick to the bottom of the kadhai. Keep roasting it until you start getting aroma of gram flour and it is light golden brown.It takes around 10-15 minutes.Keep stirring the flour so that it gets roasted evenly.
When the gram flour is roasted nicely then add milk to it and stir quickly and nicely so that there is no lumps in it.
When it has absorbed all the milk, then add sugar in it and mix nicely so that sugar is incorporated nicely in the halwa.
Add half of the almonds flakes in it and mix nicely.While serving just garnish with rest of the almond flakes and serve.Super yummy halwa is ready in no time.You can also make this halwa ahead of time and then just warm it up in microwave and serve.This halwa is full of flavors and yumminess.
